VI设计
CALABASAS拥有⾼端独立的品牌灵魂，从装修风格到与FENDI CASA的合作，固化的传统标志形象已经不足以体现品牌价值和独⽴性。此次VI设计的主要⽬标是树⽴有独特意义内涵和独立外观的品牌形象。
灵感来源于⻄海岸说唱初期，艺术家在音乐中加⼊的funky的元素改良甚至⾰新了老派说唱，以重拍骤停为⾳乐特⾊，融合⼤量⻄⽅⾳乐元素，把嘻哈说唱⽂化带向了了新的阶段，直⾄今⽇都拥有很⾼的派别性和历史地位。CALABASAS的初衷正是要将革新文化融入传统，希望能借此致敬不断创新的流行文化，不同寻常但⼜不断融⼊主流的精 神概念。
Product Design
CALABASAS possesses a high-end, independent brand soul. From its decor style to its collaboration with FENDI CASA, the traditional fixed logo image is no longer sufficient to reflect the brand's value and independence. The main goal of this VI (Visual Identity) design is to establish a brand image with unique meaning, connotation, and independent appearance.
The inspiration comes from the early days of West Coast rap, where artists incorporated funky elements into their music, improving and innovating old-school rap. Characterized by heavy beat drops and pauses, this style blends numerous Western musical elements, propelling hip-hop rap culture to a new stage. To this day, it holds significant distinctiveness and historical status. The original intention of CALABASAS is to integrate innovative culture into tradition, aiming to pay tribute to the continuously evolving pop culture. It embodies an unconventional yet constantly mainstream-integrating spirit and concept.
在视觉上，我们尝试通过图像来捕捉⾳乐灵魂的波⻓，创作了以三⻆⽮量为基底的字⺟图形，通过边⻓和间断调整体logo的韵律感，⽽嘻哈是街头⽂化，与传统⽂化相对⽴，骤停的funky是相较于传统灵魂乐的叛逆，因此我们反其道而⾏之，把本应构成字⺟的边框线段去除 ， 反而加重空白空间⾯积，使logo的韵律感更厚重，使之赋予不不同意义。
Visually, we tried to capture the wavelength of the musical soul through imagery. We created letter graphics based on triangular vectors, adjusting the rhythm of the logo by varying side lengths and interruptions. Hip-hop represents a contrast to traditional culture, with funky breaks acting as a rebellion against traditional soul music. Therefore, we took an opposite approach by removing the boundary lines that should form the letters and instead emphasized the blank spaces. This gave the logo a more substantial rhythm and imbued it with different meanings.
VI系统的建⽴在规则和细节之上，在不断完善和多次有效交流之中产出，更加完善整体统⼀性。
The establishment of the VI system is based on rules and details, resulting from continuous improvement, effective communication, and multiple exchanges. This approach ensures a more refined overall consistency.
